Fees & Services 2024 - 2025

Wills inclusive of:

Face-to-Face (usually home visit) meetings to take details of your assets/ family make up & what you are looking to achieve, during a fact find meeting, provide full advice and recommendations and then to take your instructions for your chosen items in a second meeting.
Advice and guidance in other matters where requested / appropriate (e.g. Inheritance Tax / Estate Planning).
Construction, preparation, checking and production of a draft printed Will for your approval, with full explanations.
Preparation of final documents, third meeting, supervision and witnessing of Will signing, acting as one of the 2 witnesses required. Supplying copies of your valid in-force Will, advice regarding appropriate safe storage methods.

Will Trust

Includes any arrangement where a specific trust is required in the Will which offer further protection against sideways disinheritance, to protect beneficiaries that are on benefits from losing their means tested benefits and a number of other reasons. Examples of these are:

Protected Property Trust (PPT) **includes assistance to Sever the Tenancy
Flexible Life Interest Trust (F.L.I.T) **includes Letter of Wishes**
Discretionary Trust **includes Letter of wishes**
Vulnerable Persons Trust (Enables your vulnerable beneficiary to benefit from your will, retain their means tested benefits & trustee's to manage this money)
Right of Residence Trust and other protective Will Trusts

Protection Plus-Lifetime Trust

This is set up whilst you are both alive and allows both of you to put your house and other assets into this Trust.

You are both installed as Trustees, to retain full control

Guarantees against sideways disinheritance

Probate may not be necessary, so can avoid probate costs & delays

Only available if your property is mortgage free

Childrens Trust

Allows you to set out in your Will a Trust which states your children would inherit after 18, up to 25 years of age.

Letter of Wishes

This is to run alongside a Will Trust, such as a Discretionary Trust, which lets your trustees know what you’d like them to take into consideration.This is also a good option to run alongside you LPA’s (one letter per LPA) to let your attorney’s know your wishes and things for them to take into consideration.

Severance of Tenancy

Assistance to complete the severance of tenancy forms to sever a joint tenancy and sending to the Land Registry (Free with PPT or FLIT Will trusts)

Fully Secured Will Storage

(other documents can also be stored with the Will e.g LPA)(Fee payable by annual DD to National Will Safe- this includes the Will being registered on the National Will Register). Fully insured & protected. Recall your documents at any time post free.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

Lasting Powers of Attorney inclusive of:

Face-to-Face (usually home visit) meeting to take your details, provide full advice and take your instructions.

Full advice and explanation regarding the two types of LPA- ‘Financial and Property’ and ‘Health and Welfare’ including Attorneys, powers and all relevant details. Supply, preparation and checking of your pre-signature LPA documents.

Second meeting- confirm Donors understanding (Certificate Provision), obtaining and witnessing yours and your attorney’s signatures, (your attorneys cannot be witnesses) document checking and application to register your LPAs to the Office of The Public Guardian (OPG). Advice regarding appropriate safe storage methods.

L.P.A - Single Document (Either Property & Finance or Health & Wellbeing)

In addition, the OPG registration fee of £82 per LPA is payable by you to the OPG when they receive your application
